Billy’s Beach is a high-energy, seven-day music festival in St Francis Bay. Known for its world-class production, three curated stages, and an impressive lineup of South African legends and international guest acts, Billy’s Beach is a hallmark of the festive season on South Africa’s coast.

As Artist Manager and Liaison, I was responsible for the full artist care and logistics experience across all three stages for the duration of the event, including the high-profile New Year’s Eve show.

Key responsibilities included:

Travel & hospitality coordination – overseeing the full artist journey from travel and arrival to accommodation at multiple artist houses

On-site artist logistics – coordinating daily schedules for artist shuttles, set times, and backstage transitions across three simultaneous stages

Artist care – ensuring food, drinks, and all comfort needs were handled with attention and discretion, fostering a relaxed and professional experience

Backstage & performance support – managing stage transitions, technical rider fulfillment, and smooth artist flow before, during, and after sets

High-level communication – acting as the main point of contact between artists, stage managers, and production teams to ensure a seamless experience

With acts like Zakes Bantwini, Catz ’n Dogz (PL), Dino Lenny (IT), Omri (IL), Abby Nurock, Dean Fuel, Lola Palmer (UKR), and many more, this role required calm, intuitive leadership and strong coordination across moving parts. I brought a mix of warmth, structure, and sharp responsiveness to make sure every artist felt held and every moment ran on time.
